Dear Class of 2022 families,
We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of the NCCVT Class of 2022 at four commencement ceremonies next week. As you may have heard, the University of Delaware recently announced that they are updating their indoor mask policies for UD-sponsored events as a result of the increase in Covid-19 cases. This message will help clarify what that means for our celebrations.
High school graduations are NOT considered UD-sponsored events. While all University of Delaware and hired staff will be required to wear masks during events, outside guests are not required but are strongly encouraged to wear masks. This includes our graduates, staff members, and our graduates’ invited guests in the audience. We will have masks available for individuals who do not bring one but wish to wear one while inside the Bob Carpenter Center.
As a courtesy for our families and anyone who cannot travel or prefers to remain home during this uncertain time, we have contracted with OK Video to livestream each school’s ceremony. The links for each school are listed below. We hope this gives additional family members and loved ones the opportunity to participate virtually while remaining safe.
